Fell In Love with this photo. The colors, the characters and images just make me feel good.
Have you always wanted to bring your family on a vacation that everyone would love to go on? Do you wish you could afford a few hotel rooms on top of the flights for each of your family members? Well instead of reserving several hotel rooms for everyone to stay in, why don’t you rent a kuta bali beachfront rental unit that everyone can stay in?
This is the perfect way to save some money, keep your loved ones together, and relax in a luxurious villa that will melt everyone’s stresses away. This is how your vacations should be instead of running up and down hotel hallways from one room to the next to visit your loved ones. Then you have to listen to several hundred other tourists do the same thing. Vacationing in a hotel room is not the ideal vacation for you and your family.
This vacation is a special trip for you and your loved ones if you have never flew outside of the United States before. Even though kuta bali is still one of the islands of Indonesia, you are still traveling to a tropical island. This can make it feel as though you are traveling to a foreign country. In a way, you are traveling to a foreign land because you won’t find the scenery and landscapes like these anywhere in the United States. There are so many different things you and your family members can take part in when you vacation to there. With miles of sandy beaches that you can lay out in the sun on. With your own luxury villa rental unit, you can have your own private beach all to yourself so you don’t have to share it with any other tourists.
When you vacation to a tropical island, you’ll find there are many things you and your family can do during your stay. You can try your hand at surfing the waves, or you can go hiking or visit the local historical landmarks. You can also go boating and fishing if your family likes to fish. Other activities you can take part in include swimming, sunbathing, shopping, dancing, and much more. Great memories that your family will remember for a lifetime!
Planning a Successful Baby Shower
When someone you love is expecting you would move mountains to make her shower a special day. Luckily you don’t have to – a successful baby shower can be pretty spectacular without a whole lot of fuss, provided you stay organized and calm. Keep these tips in mind if you’re planning a baby shower.
Who, What, Where, When
You’ll certainly want to check in with your mom-to-be – it’s her party, after all, and if she has a theme in mind or a color scheme, she should be accommodated. Decide if you’ll be hosting alone or with help and set a budget.
Next, create a guest list with your VIM (Very Important Mom), collecting full names and addresses.
Decide where you’ll be having the event, whether in someone’s home, in a restaurant or in some other space, like a banquet hall, fire hall, VFW or church gathering center. That will also probably help you set the date, as you’ll have to work around your venue’s schedule, but in general, you should try to start planning at least a month and a half in advance.
Invitations and Registry
Take some time to fill out the invitations and let the mom-to-be set up registries at any stores she likes (Target and Babies R Us are popular choices). Including a little card with this information on it in the invitations is a great way to ensure that Mom gets the things she needs. If you really want to make the event special and you have a knack for crafting, consider hand-making the invitations, so that they’re utterly personal keepsakes on their own.
Mailing, Menu and More
Send out the invitations about a month before the party date. Now is the fun part for most – planning the menu. If you’re at a restaurant or somewhere that caters, you’ll simply be choosing which foods to offer. If you’re in someone’s home, decide what you’d like to offer and divvy up the cooking.
Now is also a good time to start planning your decorations, party favors and games. Consider a festive and colorful diaper cake as a surprise center piece for the almost-mommy. Make sure the edible cake is ordered as well.
The Final Details
As the big day draws near, make sure you dot your Is and cross your Ts. About a week before the shower, confirm reservations, call up stragglers who haven’t yet RSVPed and make a list of all the last-minute details that will no doubt pop up (writing it up and keeping it close is a good way to stay organized). A few days before you can decorate and set up tables a chairs; the day before get all your cooking done and check-in with the guest of honor to see how she’s feeling.
Finally, the day of, keep your calm, know that you were organized and everything will fall into place and focus on celebrating the wonderful and life-changing joy with your loved one.
School starts September 2nd, the Tuesday after Labor Day and there is much to be done for us both. A few things we have managed to take care of online. We ordered some really cute clothes for her that should be arriving here real soon.
We got most of the school supplies that we are sure are going to be needed. We won’t know what the rest is until we go to Back To School Night where we will get her schedule, meet her teachers and get the supply lists that hopefully will only have a few surprises on them that we aren’t all ready prepared with and for.
We also took care of the guitar parts needs so that she will have her martin om-28 acoustic guitar in best possible shape for her first year of guitar lessons in public school. She basically taught herself how to play and has had several people teach her a few things here and there but she has never had a formal class and is excited to be in a class that she will enjoy instead of one of the core classes that she finds so boring as well as challenging.
This morning my throat was sore when I woke up. I can’t breathe and I feel totally awful. There’s no fever, so I guess it is not the flu. Maybe I am having a severe allergy attack? The weather has been crazy so maybe it’s a cold.
The only thing that makes me feel a little better is the hot tea. I don’t even want coffee – it makes my throat worse. So I’m sipping hot tea and staying inside and resting up and I hope that my mother has a nice restful easy day as well. We have a lot to do come Thursday and Friday and we all need to be in good health.
