I’ve been looking for a new game ID. I think this picture is a good representation of what I have in mind.

My dad is awesome. I have the deepest respect for him and everything he has done for our family.

Love you, Dad!

It Was Obvious

Of COURSE Adam Lambert is gay. Why are you surprised?

What does it matter anyway? He still sings and dances great and I love the twinkle in his eyes. He’s a great guy – gay or straight.

Free Downloads

June 7th, 2009

Poking around the Amazon site, I found some free MP3 downloads of music samplers. There are a variety of them and I’m not sure how to search for them specifically, but the couple that I came across were good. They have a download program you are supposed to use. I used it and it worked OK but I don’t even know how to use that program again now that I got what I wanted.

SPIM

June 5th, 2009

If you use Instant Messenger, I bet you have been getting a lot of SPIM. That is SPAM + Instant Messages. I am sick of it – I get like 3 or 4 a day from people trying to get me to watch them on their video cams do nasty things and to buy berry diet pills. I’ve tried reporting them as SPIM to Yahoo but who knows if they do anything with the reports?

So this morning I report 4 SPIMS and I get an email from Yahoo that says that the best thing to do about those SPIMS is to just ignore them. So now Yahoo has dissed me.

There used to be a limit to how many people you could ignore on IM. I wonder if they removed that limit?

Geeks and Freaks

December 4th, 2008

I love computers. I love the internet. In any computer related task, I refuse to be beat by a computer and I will persist until I can figure it out and prevail.

I am not a Geek, but I know enough Geeks that if I get in a bind I can make a call and get help. I love my Geeks.

Bought a Turkey – Now What?

November 25th, 2008

I’m not a great cook but I succumbed to intense peer pressure and bought a turkey at Publix today. I will cook a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, with this turkey and all the traditional side dishes and even some desserts. I hope I can find some help with cooking instructions for this turkey on the internet. I wonder if Martha Stewart can cook a simple turkey or does it have to be all dressed up special with paper thingies on its legs? I’ll see if Martha can help.
