2015 Winston Family Reunion

Coming from a good sized family that has managed to spread themselves all over the country with so many Things to do around USA and a handful that are totally out of the country, and really don’t care about Things to do in Boston. These family reunions have become huge events that mean so much to each and every one of us to be able to attend. On the down side, putting together and hosting this huge family event is a lot of hard work and takes a good sized chunk of change for the hosting family to put out.

Our local branch of the family is slated to host the 2016 Winston Family Reunion, which is well over a year and a half from now and we are all ready busy research, planning, plotting, scheduling, and finding other interesting and entertaining Things to do in San Francisco that will help so many relatives that want to do other things while in town. Lord knows there isn’t a shortage of places to go and things to see, but I want to give these folks as much information as I can that will make the best out of the whole shebang.

I have been given a couple of tasks that I need to start looking harder at starting. One being that we want to have t shirts, in various colors for games and other organizational reasons. I need to find out whether we should go with printed or embroidered shirts that will be sporting the Winston family crest along the dates of that reunion in which all the people will/can wear that day and take home and hopefully wear for years and years.

So I need to look at t shirt screen printing and embroidery options. I don’t want these to be some cheap looking shirts, but we don’t want to spend a ton of money either. I figure since I have a good amount of time, if I do a bit of research both online and off, talk it up with other folks that I’ll be able to come up with something that I will feel good and proud to show my parents for their approval and eventually present to the whole family in 2016.

Just wondering if we are related. I don’t know the Windton side of my family, but I would like to. My grandfather was William Winston, from Virginia.
